Safari Seniors Limited is a Tanzania family owned tour operator. The company was established in 2000 we have offices Dar es salaam and Arusha
The Directors are Norman Shayo and Coleman Norman, both born and brought up in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Our staff pays particular attention to detail, We pride ourselves in our personalized service and continuously endeavor to ensure a most rewarding safaris for our clients.

Flexibility
Our scope is currently limited to Tanzania . This is no coincidence as we purpose to focus on what we know and what we do best. Our guiding principle is to work with each client, family and group in an individual way. We encourage you to work with us, discussing your interests, style of travel, budget, time frame and any other factors that would influence your trip - to come up with an itinerary best suited to you, your family or group. Noting that some have said that travel to Africa is not inexpensive, our tours offer the best value for your money.
Transportation
Our vehicles are 4-6seater Custom safari minibuses with pop-up roof ideal for game viewing and sight seeing. The buses are well maintained to provide maximum level of comfort and safety and are fitted with HF long range radios for easy communication. The vehicles are fully equipped with cool-boxes and first aid kits, as well as guide books on wildlife and birds of East Africa. If requested, transportation can be arranged in a 4 x 4 Landcruiser or Landrover at an extra cost but is not guaranteed.
Our driver/guides
We know this for a fact! The success of your safari will largely depend on your driver/guide. It is because of this that we have a great team of carefully selected driver/guides, well trained and experienced and with a vast knowledge of the wildlife and animal behavior as well as the local fauna and flora. Our driver/guides speak English, Spanish and French - the choice is yours.
Departures
To make it is easy and convenient, all our safaris depart daily with minimum 2 persons. We do this to allow our itineraries/safaris fit into your schedule. Prices are thus based on two persons, but go down with more persons signing up in which case we advise the already booked clients accordingly.
Briefs
At the start of your safari, either NORMAN or one of our tour consultants will take time to meet you preferably at our office (whenever possible) to introduce your driver/guide and take you through the safari program explaining what to expect while on the safari, provide background information and materials, discuss the dos and don'ts as well as answer any last minute questions that you may have.
Accommodation
Accommodation is valid and will greatly depend on your budget. There are several types ranging from 5-star hotels and luxury tented camps to basic camping for those who want to 'rough it". We can and will help you choose from the list when planning your trip. At whatever level, we provide the very best for our guests.

We are members Association of Tanzania Tour Operators ( ATO) . This obligates us to observe the Association's strict code of conduct designed to ensure that members trade honestly and professionally at all times. The Association also expects members to comply with the spirit of Tanzania's tourist reputation, offering high quality service, comfort, safety and value to all clients. Besides, we care for the environment and the local people living near the National Parks and Game Reserves.
